Core controls
Default keyboard bindings (you can remap them in settings once you are in the game):
- Move — A / D or arrow keys to position under the ball
- Jump — hold and release to charge higher jumps for spikes and blocks
- Hit / dig — contact the ball with timing to bump, set, or spike
- Power / special — use charged abilities when available in a rally
On touch devices, on-screen controls cover movement and jump. Exact labels appear in the in-game settings panel.
Reading a rally
Stay under the ball early, jump with purpose, and aim spikes toward open sand. Digs keep the rally alive; mistimed swings leave your side open. Arcade physics reward clean timing more than simulation-style footwork.
Modes: quick play vs competitive
Quick play is for short browser volleyball matches — queue up, smash, rematch. Competitive tracks ranked progress for players who want a climb. Both use the same arcade beach court and team sizes.
Team sizes (1v1–6v6)
Queue as a solo duel or fill larger sides up to 6v6. Larger modes need clearer roles — someone covering deep sand while others press the net. Smaller modes are pure reaction and placement.
Tips for new players
- Watch the ball shadow and commit to a landing spot before you jump.
- Charge jumps only when you have space — late charges get stuffed at the net.
- In 3v3+, communicate (or watch teammates) so two players do not collide under one ball.
- Warm up in a short quick-play match before jumping into ranked.
