This Privacy Policy explains how VolleyRush (“we”, “us”) collects and uses information when you use volleyrush.io and the game at /play.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: username, password hash, email if provided, profile and cosmetic preferences.
- Gameplay data: match results, ranks, inventory, VP balance and ledger entries needed to run the game.
- Technical data: IP address, browser/device type, cookies or similar session tokens for login and security (including CSRF protection).
- Analytics: aggregated usage events (for example via Google Analytics) to understand traffic and improve the Service.
- Purchase metadata: order identifiers, pack purchased, amounts, and status. Card details are handled by Paddle — we do not store full payment card numbers.
2. How we use information
- Operate accounts, matches, shops, and anti-abuse systems;
- Deliver purchased VP and cosmetics;
- Provide support and important service notices;
- Improve performance, balance, and features;
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms.
3. Payments (Paddle)
When you buy VP, checkout is processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle receives the personal and payment data needed to complete the transaction under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation events (for example transaction completed) so we can credit your account.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Service providers that host or operate the Service (servers, email, analytics);
- Paddle for payment processing;
- Authorities when legally required.
5. Retention
We keep account and ledger records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for fraud prevention, accounting, and legal obligations. You may request account deletion by contacting us; some records may be retained where law requires.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures such as HTTPS, hashed passwords, and session cookies. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). If you believe a child provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
8. International users
We may process data in countries where our servers or providers operate. By using the Service you understand your information may be transferred accordingly, with safeguards where required by law.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact support@volleyrush.io to make a request.
